Fully Homomorphic Encryption tutorial by Nigel Smart

Abstract

MIT's Technology Review listed Fully Homomorphic Encryption as one of the top 10 technologies to watch out for in 2011...

http://www.technologyreview.com/tr10/

In this talk I will cover the latest developments in the area, but will start from scratch; i.e. no prior knowledge of Fully Homomorphic Encryption will be needed. In addition I will point out intriguing links with areas of pure mathematics.

The talk will be of the chalk-and-talk variety and so there will be plenty of opportunity to interrupt the speaker and divert him from his plan.
