FOSAD 2012: a success, and more to follow

The FOSAD 2012 summer school, with contributions from CryptoForma and the EU network Nessos, was a great success. There were some 40 participants, including 15 sponsored by CryptoForma, listening to excellent talks by CryptoForma sponsored speakers Phil Rogaway, Karthik Bhargavan, and Mark Ryan. Other speakers fitted very well within the CryptoForma theme, such as our former member (now back in Germany) Jan Jurjens, Martin Abadi, and Bart Preneel. The FOSAD organisers (Fabio Martinelli now taking over from Roberto Gorrieri) were very pleased with the collaboration, and have invited CryptoForma to continue being part of FOSAD, which we will certainly do.
